Peyton
WFTS
This is a cool dog 😎 Peyton is a very young – maybe 12 weeks old – Australian (mixed?) puppy who has learned life lessons from all the dogs she has met in the two weeks since we got her. spending time. She has fostered/sittered a “pack” of three different dogs and has bonded with each of them, followed them, snuggled with them, and observed them with great interest. She is incredibly friendly with dogs ranging from just 3 pounds to 90 pounds.
She is very smart and has learned that the little old lady’s are the hottest. She’s kind and loving to everyone – even when she gets chewed on gum and reprimanded for daring to ask what Grandma Dog was eating 🤣 Peyton is a stray dog with an open wound on her neck. Found as a baby and all alone, it naturally craves humans. Once they are gone, she feels safe with other dogs. She plays like a champ alone or with anyone she wants to join. She has a gentle personality and will make an incredible family pet, with children doting on her.
Pei Pei’s favorite place to nap is snuggled up against your neck. She sleeps in her crate or with you all night – very much liked 😉 Potty training is also going well. We are hoping to find a foster home to adopt her locally in the Tampa area. Veterinarians will complete tests over the next few weeks as she grows. This precious time when a puppy is learning everything is so special and we would be incredibly happy for her forever family to be able to experience that with her. . Salary requires living in a house with a garden.
She will want at least one other dog in the home to comfort her when she is left alone with her humans. In perfect circumstances, she might be able to become Only, but I’m not entirely sure yet. Peyton is not interested in the rough and tumble play that some dogs have. It’s just not her speed. But it would be great for dogs to coexist together, to chew on toys side by side, to play in parallel. A wise older sibling would be perfect.

Liberty, Justice, and Indy
WFTS
These three dogs came to the rescue of Heidi’s Legacy Dogs on 9/11. They were born in June.
These three puppies are truly wonderful puppies and are learning a lot from their foster parents and the other dogs they foster.
The perfect house would be one with children in a fenced yard. Family is great!
