Season 19 of Sister Wives recently premiered, and Janelle Brown boldly criticized Robyn Brown’s parenting style, implying that it led to the family’s breakup. Over the years, the Sister Wives have always avoided talking about each other as parents, but the gloves are off and there’s nothing wrong with that. Janelle was the second wife of polygamous patriarch Kody Brown. The two were married for 29 years and had six children together before Janelle walked away from her marriage to Kody in 2022.
Janelle wasn’t Kody’s first wife to leave him, nor will she be his last. His first wife, whose marriage ended, was Christine Brown, and his last wife, Meri Brown. The highly anticipated Season 19 launch of Sister Wives finds Kody in an unexpectedly monogamous relationship with his fourth wife, Robyn Brown. At his peak, Kody had four wives and 18 children, each with their own parenting style. Janelle recently threw some shade at her fourth wife Robyn’s parenting style.
Brothers have no bond
they didn’t grow up together
When Robyn married Kody in 2010, she had three children from her first marriage, all under the age of 10. In 2014, Kody legally divorced his first wife Meri so he could legally marry Robyn and adopt her children. Dayton, Aurora, and Brianna eventually changed their last names from Jessop to Brown. Although Robin’s children were somewhat accepted into their new family, they did not have the same experience as their other siblings in the Brown household.

Solomon and Ariella Brown
Sister Wives season 19 stars Kody and Robin are expecting two children. Solomon and Ariella Brown. The youngest members of the family, Solomon and Ariela, remember little about the time their family was together. By the time they were born, many of Kody’s children with other wives had grown up and left home. Many Brown children even marry and have children of their own.

During an early episode of Sister Wives season 19, Janelle gave an on-camera interview criticizing Kody and Robyn’s way of raising their youngest child. The sequence begins with Kody explaining that back when the Sister Wives matriarch still had four wives, he would panic every time Ariella went with one of his other wives. She displayed extreme separation anxiety, grabbing his legs and screaming, making him feel guilty for leaving. Janelle accused Kody and Robyn of not properly preparing them for life as children of polygamy.
