Eries Interiors, a new shop focused on interior design and home decor, opens today in Old Town.
The new store is located at 101 S. St Asaph Street, between Bluemercury and Madame Coco, just south of King Street. The store is named after the Erie Canal, near where co-founders Jessica Moak and Elena Lall grew up.
The store will focus on original artwork, home decor and homewares, with styles ranging from early 20th century brass to mid-century modern furniture, according to the release.
“Since moving to Old Town over 10 years ago, I have been eager to bring this vision to life in this beautiful community,” Mork said in the release. “This is a diverse and eclectic town that celebrates honest artistry and craftsmanship. Each Elise piece was chosen to honor these values and the people of Alexandria.”
The store also accepts requests to create works tailored to specific spaces.
“Alexandria’s Old Town is known for its rich history and cultural vibrancy,” Lal said in the release. “We are excited to serve this unique community by providing a space where art and lifestyle come together to create something unique and beautiful.”
