Oct. 30—Moses Lake—Moore Brewing Company in Moses Lake announced it will host a fundraiser to benefit lost pets in Grant County, Washington.
The free event, which will take place Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m., will include raffles, prizes and other fun, as well as live music from local cover band Days of Honey. Moore Brewing is located at 302 W. Broadway Ave.
Proceeds will support Lost and Found Pets of Grant County’s efforts to rescue, reunite and adopt pets in the area, according to the announcement.
According to the announcement, Lost and Found Pets of Grant County is a community-based nonprofit organization. With the help of many dedicated volunteers, the organization rescues thousands of abandoned, abused and neglected animals, provides critical medical care such as vaccinations and spays, and provides loving, permanent homes for animals. I have found a place.
The organization also partners with home foster families to care for animals while they wait for adoption, and promotes Responsible Pets through educational content on social media platforms, including sharing information about spay/neuter programs available in Grant County. The group writes that it is promoting the raising of animals.
