In a strategic move to strengthen industry relationships and enhance the travel experience, The Travel Corporation Tour Brands recently hosted an exclusive gathering of travel professionals against the stunning backdrop of Alberta’s most iconic destinations I did. The inaugural TTC Tour Brand Advisor Alliance brought together 20 elite travel advisors for an immersive week-long summit that combines business innovation with wilderness adventure.
At October’s summit, held in partnership with Travel Alberta, attendees will explore the region’s treasures, from the sophisticated city of Calgary to the pristine nature of Banff National Park to the mirror-like Lake Louise. I was taken on a journey. Mornings were spent discussing industry trends and marketing strategies, and afternoons included hiking through the dramatic landscapes of Banff and exploring the vibrant streets of Calgary.
“We are creating a more collaborative approach to travel planning,” said Melissa DaSilva, interim CEO of TTC Tour Brands. “By involving advisors in the conversation early on, we ensure our services truly reflect the wants and needs of our travelers.”
The summit included innovative sessions that allowed advisors to step into the shoes of CEOs and provide new perspectives on industry challenges and opportunities.
Ryan Elliott, Travel Alberta’s U.S. Managing Director, highlighted the strategic timing of the event and highlighted Alberta’s appeal during the fall season.
“There’s something magical about Alberta in the fall,” he says. “By experiencing first-hand the crisp mountain air, golden larches and quiet trails, travel advisors can truly share that experience with their clients.”
This summit was more than just a business meeting. It was evidence of the evolving travel industry’s focus on authentic experiences and collaborative planning.
