Jenna Dewan recently opened up about her challenging parenting journey with her three children. On Oct. 24, the “Step Up” star spoke to PEOPLE at the InStyle Imagemaker Awards and revealed that her two older children are very loving and caring for her youngest girl, Rhiannon. She also talked about her own changes as she became a mother of three children. “I was really shocked at how smoothly it went,” Dewan said while talking about the experience.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Jenna Dewan revealed how much her eldest daughter Everly and son Callum care about newborn Rhiannon. She explained: they love her They are very interested in her. She also revealed that her four-year-old son “really loves” Rhiannon. Eleven-year-old Everly, on the other hand, is “obsessed” with her sister and wants to “hug her all the time and shake her and everything.”
The actor also opened up about how she never expected her parenting journey to be a mother of three to go so smoothly despite her busy schedule. She said: “I’m definitely at a disadvantage and it’s hard on my brain to schedule three kids, but they’re incredible. They flow easily.”
In a separate interview with PEOPLE in September, Dewan gushed about her unexpectedly “smooth” transition to motherhood of three children. She initially believed the process would be “very difficult” and asked herself, “How on earth am I going to raise three children?” The actor then recalled how he felt when he brought little Rhiannon home from the hospital. Dewan said: This is…how do I raise a toddler, an 11 year old, and a baby? ” However, the transition turned out to be “very smooth” for her.
