Revlon-owned Elizabeth Arden has collaborated with renowned Spanish stylist/costume designer and influencer Cristina Rodriguez to create new uniforms for the brand’s beauty advisors in the European travel retail channel. The new uniforms are now being phased in at the doors of all Elizabeth Arden Europe airports.
Rodriguez is a renowned film, television and theater designer who has created designs for more than 70 films and television series, including Netflix’s Elite and The Masked Singer. She has been nominated at least seven times for the prestigious GOYA Awards (Spain’s main domestic annual film award, equivalent to the US Oscar).
“We wanted to take travel retail beauty advisor uniforms to the next level,” explains Celine Moitier, Elizabeth Arden Marketing Director, EMEA. “Our travel retail sales team is more than just beauty consultants, they are our brand ambassadors. As many travel consumers’ first point of contact with the Elizabeth Arden portfolio, they are the true face of the brand.”
Take advantage of the iconic red door
The new Beauty Advisor uniforms feature the brand’s unique monogram and the striking signature that has been synonymous with the brand since founder Elizabeth Arden opened her first corporate spa in 1910 and painted the front door scarlet. It features a red hue.
“Our signature red color represents boldness and strength, qualities for which our pioneering founders were well known,” said Moitier.
Bruno Orb, Director of Learning and Development at EMEA Prestige, added: “Beauty advisor uniforms are more than just work wear; they embody and project an important identity. We wanted to create something fun and dynamic that showcased the brand’s heritage and brand DNA.
“From the beginning, Christina understood how to leverage our brand values using the EA monogram and the famous Arden red hue.”
Thanks to an innovative combination collection of separates and accessories, beauty advisors can regularly refresh their look.
“We’re very excited to unveil these new uniforms, created specifically for the travel retail environment. This demonstrates how much we value the important role our beauty advisors play within the channel. It’s an investment to recognize.
“The design really helps to grab the attention of passengers and the feedback so far has been very positive. We are confident that these new uniforms will perfectly capture the essence and spirit of the Elizabeth Arden brand, while also creating a sense of attribution. I believe it helps to develop awareness and team spirit,” Moitier concluded.
