Rockville Police believe these robberies are connected to several other robberies in the county.
ROCKVILLE, Md. — Rockville police are investigating after a suspect broke into multiple commercial establishments on Wednesday.
The robbery occurred between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. between the 800 and 1600 blocks of Rockville Pike.
The robber was caught on surveillance camera inside ULTA Beauty in Parliament Square. A store where Tracy Berman and her mother often shop.
“Honestly, I was really surprised. I always feel safe here, absolutely,” Berman said.
Police said the robbers broke the store’s glass. Once inside, they took cash and merchandise. It is unclear how much money or goods the robbers were able to get away with.
All the robbers wore masks during the robbery and fled in a white Audi Q5.
Longtime residents argue that while crime in the area has worsened, its impact has not.
“We need to arrest them. Then the message will be sent to other gangs,” said John Luke Mukendi.
Rockville Police believe these robberies are connected to several other robberies in the county. Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to contact police.
