This week’s Pet of the Week comes to you from the Tipton County Animal Shelter. Meet Wolfie!
Looking for the perfect dog for your Game of Thrones cosplay? Have you dreamed of a loving, silly, fluffy puppy to complete your family? Wolfie is your girlfriend!
Wolfie is a stunning 1-2 year old Husky-Samoyed blend that weighs 60 pounds, but can top out at around 70 pounds.
Although she is heartworm positive, don’t let that deter you from getting a direwolf lookalike. Tipton County Animal Shelter has a treatment program run by our affiliated veterinarians. She can kick those bugs to the curb in the comfort of your home!
Wolfie is dog friendly and loves children. He’s also good at walking on a leash!
The best home for Wolfie is one with a fenced yard for him to play in and no cats.
Wolfie is great and fun, but he has some small quirks. She doesn’t like loading the car, but if you pacify her with patience and expensive treats, she’ll get better at it. Also, his ears are a little sore due to the injuries he sustained before being rescued by the shelter.
