Miss Josie is a sweet girl looking for someone to call her family. She is a 1 year old, 50 pound German Shepherd/American Staffordshire Terrier mix. Josie came to us as a stray dog while pregnant at the end of May. She is now ready to find her furry home and will be a wonderful addition to any family. She is very playful with other dogs and will enjoy a playmate in her new home. I don’t know how she spends her time around cats, but she loves kids. She is very smart and eager to learn. And she has lots of energy!
Look at this amazing feline! This cute kitten is in slippers. The slippers were delivered at the beginning of April. Then we found out she was pregnant, and we raised the baby in a foster home for a while. She waited for a while for her family to come pick her up. Her adoption fee is $100 + tax and includes spaying, microchip, FeLV/FIV testing, and vaccinations.

Our newsroom may report stories under the byline “Staff.” The “Staff” byline is often used when rewriting basic news summaries that come from official sources and require little or no reporting, such as a city press release about a road closure. This byline is sometimes used when a news article has many authors or is created by aggregating previously reported news from different sources. If external sources are used, they will be noted within the story.
Hello, this is Brainerd Dispatch. I started a few days before Christmas, 1881, and two years later it became a daily paper. I’ve experienced many changes over the years, but one thing that has never changed is my commitment to the community and local journalism. I have a whole team of dedicated people working day and night to get me out there every morning with additional information in print, electronically, via the app, or at www.brainerddispatch.com. News, weather, sports, video, photos, podcasts and social media all covering stories about our neighbors, lakes, communities, challenges and opportunities from central Minnesota. It’s all part of our effort to keep people connected and informed. And we couldn’t do it without support.
