The WWE star may have hinted that he and his tag team partner could go their separate ways.
Last night on WWE SmackDown (October 25th), DIY faced off against both teams in their first tag team match against the Motor City Machine Guns.
This match was not only their first meeting, but also the match to determine the number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championship between Tama Tonga and Tonga Roa.
After an errant superkick from Johnny Gargano sent Tommaso Ciampa knocking him out of the ring, it was Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin who emerged victorious and now put their title shot against The Bloodline. I aimed.
Ciampa posted an image of the moment he was superkicked by Gargano on his Instagram story following the loss, but some fans believe the former “Blackheart” isn’t trying to take on Johnny Wrestling again. I think it might be teasing.
Check out the post for yourself below.
Ciampa is no stranger to antagonizing Gargano, famously doing so at NXT TakeOver Chicago in 2017, but after DIY’s exit at the 2019 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic He later attempted a similar fight back in NXT, only for Gargano to block his efforts. .
WrestleTalk will provide further updates on a potential DIY split as they become available.
After DIY lost to the Motor City Machine Guns, Sherri and Sabin defeated Tama Tonga and Tonga Roa in an exciting main event to immediately win the WWE Tag Team Championship.
