Like many of his fellow golfers, Phil Mickelson lives a life of luxury thanks to the wealth he’s amassed over the years. The 54-year-old, who left the PGA Tour to join LIV Golf two years ago, is one of the wealthiest professional athletes on the planet.
Mickelson provided insight into his finances last year, claiming his net worth is in the low hundreds of millions of dollars. In response to a fan’s question on X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, “I’m almost a millionaire now. Thanks for asking.”
The veteran golfer still earns a huge amount of money through LIV Golf and has numerous sponsorship deals with Callaway, KPMG, ExxonMobil, and more.

He told Golf Digest, “Amy gave it to me last Christmas. It weighs about 300 pounds and is about the size of a basketball. I also have a little one that a friend gave me. A softball. It’s about the same size. There are many others.” There are more meteorites than dinosaurs. ”
taste of wine
Mickelson is an avid wine collector and has been known to drink expensive bottles out of trophies from golf events. After winning the British Open in 2013, he carried around a claret jug and used it as a cup for himself and his friends.
He told The Scotsman: “People who know this game and love this game are very excited about it. I really understand. I only feed them good food.” Course.
“There was nothing substandard there, but the best was the 1990 Romanée-Conti wine, which thankfully wasn’t my money. Priced at about $40,000. (30,857 pounds).”
Mickelson repeated the trick in 2021, chugging a bottle of Black Magic Cabernet Sauvignon from the Wanamaker trophy.
