An innovative hurling skills competition for primary school children across County Wexford has been launched.
Hurling 365, a collaboration between Wexford GAA and Fresh Today, aims to introduce young people to the sport, encourage greater participation and promote healthy lifestyles in children through physical activity and diet. Masu.
Freshtoday Hurling 365 will run a school-wide skills testing competition across five different skills from November 2024 to January 2025, with students including University of Wexford’s Rory O’Connor and Conor McDonald Hurling legends are supporting the initiative.
The final night will be held under floodlights at Chadwicks Wexford Park on 27 February 2025, with winners from each school having the chance to be crowned champions of the Fresh Today Hurling 365 Skills Competition. We will compete for it.
The Freshtoday Hurling 365 campaign includes a variety of activities and events, including coaching sessions, tournaments, and promotional materials. Schools can sign up for coaching sessions with experienced hurling coaches and game promotion officers who will introduce students to the fundamentals of the game and help them develop their skills.
Hurling 365 is open to schools across the region and is a great opportunity for all interested students of all nationalities and backgrounds to experience the excitement and camaraderie of competitive sport.
