Olivia Munn has spoken out about the toll her battle with breast cancer has taken on her life, especially when it comes to being a mother to her and John Mulaney’s two children.
Mann, 44, said on the Today show on Wednesday, October 23, “I felt and still feel a lot of guilt because I was sick and had to undergo surgery after being bedridden for so long.” “I mean, I thought once I got through the big surgeries, like the first four, I’d be able to bounce back. But then the first wave of drugs came and I just collapsed and was weak. .”
Mann told Today’s Savannah Guthrie that she often feels “tired” and that “I haven’t been able to hold[my son Malcolm]as much because I’m not around him as much, and I haven’t been able to go to the playground as much.” spoke. She added: “I was really exhausted and I felt so guilty.”

Mann revealed that she was diagnosed with breast cancer in March last year and underwent four surgeries, including a double mastectomy.
Mann said in an appearance on Today that she is working with her oncologist to determine what activities she can and cannot do with her children as she continues treatment. “We are just a small family,” she exclaimed. “We really bond, we have a lot of fun, we laugh all the time, and John is a really great husband and father. So no matter how tired I am sometimes, we find a way to make it all work out.”

After being diagnosed with breast cancer, Mann underwent a hysterectomy. “I had my uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries removed,” she said in an interview with Vogue magazine in May. “It was a big decision to have a hysterectomy, but it was the best one for me because I needed my family to be present.”
Mann told Guthrie, 52, on Wednesday that he was “doing well” but was “mixing some medicine.” She explained: So, I’m going to look for a suitable drug. But I have my hands full with my newborn and toddler, so much of my energy is focused on them and distracted by many of the other side effects of the medication. So I’m doing pretty well. ”

The New Girl alum recently kicked off Breast Cancer Awareness Month by sharing a sweet photo of herself cuddling with baby May. Mann’s pink blouse and ribbon-patterned jeans appear to have been inspired by the breast cancer awareness pink ribbon. Mei also incorporated pink into her little socks.
“This time last year I was recovering from my 4th surgery and now spending time with my baby girl 🥹💕,” she captioned an Oct. 2 Instagram photo. “Breast Cancer Awareness Month has just begun. Last year, I was diagnosed with bilateral Luminal B breast cancer. It was my obstetrician and gynecologist @drthaisaliabadi.”
Mann went on to encourage fans to take the Tyler Cusick Risk Assessment Test, which determines your risk of developing breast cancer. “To everyone who is fighting or has fought cancer, in any way, I send all my love,” she concluded her caption.
