A new “Innovation of the Year” category has been added to highlight the country’s “pioneering ideas and advances.”
The shortlist for the 50th Business & Finance Awards has been announced. The aim of the awards, held in conjunction with KPMG, is to recognize companies that are ‘shaping the future of Irish business’.
This year we received a record number of applications, with over 80 companies shortlisted. The winners will be announced at a ceremony on December 5th at the Convention Center in Dublin.
This year’s finalists include one of Ireland’s most exciting technology start-ups, Manna Drone Delivery, and Irish cybersecurity company Integrity360, who are vying for the Elevation Company of the Year award. Masu. TransferMate, a B2B payments technology unicorn, and Wisetek, a data destruction and IT asset disposal company, were both named Company of the Year.

Food waste technology company Positive Carbon, a finalist in this year’s Enterprise Ireland HPSU Founder of the Year Award, and Xocean, a company that uses robots to collect ocean data, are competing in this new innovation category.
Sir Nick Clegg, Meta’s Managing Director of Global Affairs and former British Deputy Prime Minister, will receive the Sutherland Leadership Award, while the late Sir Tony O’Reilly, one of Ireland’s most famous businessmen, will receive the TK Whittaker Award. is. Racehorse trainer and former jockey Willie Mullins will be presented with the Outstanding Contribution to Ireland Award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to national life.
