Cineflix Rights announced multiple deals with international broadcasters and platforms for the long-running hit series Château DIY, produced by Spark Media Partners.
Château DIY (seasons 1-8, 244×60 feet, UK Channel 4’s Spark Media Partner) follows the story of a courageous château maker who tackles monumental renovation projects across France, transforming well-worn but stunning castles. Spin-off series Château DIY: Living the Dream (8×60 feet, Spark Media Partners for More 4, UK) revisits eight homeowners on a fairytale journey that breathes new life into dilapidated castles across France. CBC (Canada), Nine Network (Australia), TVNZ (New Zealand), TV2 (Denmark) TV2 (Norway), France’s Cherie 25 (NRJ Group), RTL (German-speaking Europe), AMC Networks International Central and Nordic (Spektrum Home Channels (Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic) and Antenna Entertainment (AXN Spin Channels, Poland) are working on multiple seasons of Chateau DIY.
Meanwhile, TV2 Denmark and AMCNI CNE also acquired Château DIY: Living the Dream.
The deal announcement follows news that Channel 4 has confirmed a two-year increase in orders for the franchise. Each series of Château DIY has been expanded with a 50 episode order
