LANCASTER — On January 1 of this year, Main Squeeze Connection, founded by Gena Catalucci, was born. Its mission is to awaken society to the possibility of living a beautiful and healthy life.
“I started The Main Squeeze Connection out of my own personal experience with fresh cold-pressed juices,” Catalucci said. “Three years ago, in addition to juicing, I also became interested in other self-healing methods such as breathing exercises, yoga, and meditation. Thanks to daily juicing, I lost 90 pounds. I got off the prescription drugs that had controlled most of my life and started feeling the energy I had been missing for so long.”
With more energy than ever, eating more consciously and eating less sugar, Catalucci says she feels more connected not only to herself and her body, but also to the Earth and its medicine. .
“This (juice) is one of the most powerful natural medicines that can not only help eliminate diseases, but also prevent them,” Catalucci said. “I realized what a serious need this is within our collective, our community, and within my family.”
Cataruch’s eyes just light up with excitement as she describes the juice and the process of making it.
“My fresh cold-pressed juices are made from vegetables, fruits, and herbs,” she said. “This juice is served without pasteurization in order to preserve all the raw, living enzyme nutrients contained in each cell of the plant. During pasteurization, a high temperature process removes all the live enzymes contained in the beverage. It’s important not to pasteurize, as that will actually kill the phytonutrients and completely ruin the entire prerequisite for the drug.
Catalucci offers a variety of herbal additives, from spirulina to collagen, tinctures, and more.
“These juices provide extremely high concentrations of vitamins, minerals and nutrients in a way that is easy on the digestive system and easily absorbed by the body,” she added. “This is a great addition to your daily routine and has helped my clients and me increase energy levels without crashing, reduce sugar cravings, reduce inflammation, improve sleep, and reduce fatigue.” We have collectively experienced reduced body aches, increased concentration, and improved bowel movements. It has many other benefits in my life and my health, too. changed clients.”
Cataruch offers more than 35 different juice blends, typically available in daily 16-ounce bottles, “but larger or smaller amounts are available upon request. We also have wellness shots and cold-pressed juice freeze pops,” she said.
Catalouch spends time reading food bibles, observing state-of-the-art juicers, and attending the Juice Guru Institute, where she buys juicers and builds on different items that complement each other. , says they’ve started making their own healthy concoctions, from sweet to savory. other.
“My favorite juice is Recovery, which has cucumber, fennel, lime, spinach, and Fuji apple,” Catalucci said. “It works wonders by replenishing your body with various electrolytes, hydrating you, aiding digestion, circulating your bloodstream, boosting your immunity and mood, boosting your energy…the list goes on. !”
It’s very tasty and well-balanced, says Catalucci. “Don’t be afraid of fennel. I promise I know what I’m doing. Fennel is one of my top sellers.”
Another fan favorite is Sweet Refresher with honeydew, pineapple, kiwi, and mint.
“This juice is the ultimate hydrating blend, supporting digestive health, uterine health, improved immunity, cognitive function, and more. In other words, it’s super sweet and delicious,” Cattalucci added. .
Other juices Cataluch likes to mention are Green Machine, Life in Color, Get the Glow (out of season until spring), Earthy Mama, Cold n Flu Shot, and the Fall Blend Apple Cider she’s currently using.
Cataruch also believes in eating seasonally.
“The earth provides us with what we need, when we need it, and I think that’s why we have access to seasonal food,” she said. “We launched our fall menu and it was very well received. We are so grateful to be able to share with our community the importance of eating seasonally and to see their excitement.”
Cataluch says she has a vision with many goals for a healthy future for her community.
“I would love to join a wellness retreat center that has so many different healing modalities, from breathwork to massage, Reiki, journaling rooms, salt rooms, dispensaries, saunas, and more,” she said. “I have a community of healers who want to join me in this vision.”
Aside from that very beautiful and ambitious goal, Catalouch says she would like to see a large storefront, many trained employees, and service and delivery up and down the East Coast. .
“I also aim to get my juice into the frozen market in grocery stores, which will preserve all the nutrients and make it accessible to more people while extending the shelf life to three months.” Because we can,” Cattalucci added. “I aim to have Freeze Pops available in grocery stores as well to provide a healthier ‘snack’ option. ”
Catalucci said she would eventually like to donate a portion of the profits to children’s music and art education. “Because children have the right to express themselves and have the opportunity to express themselves creatively.”
Supporting the health of the community is of paramount importance to Catalucci.
“I have intentionally crafted a juice that blends my business, my vision, and my education and compassion for the community,” Catalucci says with a smile. “You will feel it in every juice. You will feel it in every interaction with me. As an enlightened soul, I am here to influence people and take back their personal power. It’s not just juice, it’s movement!”
