Srinagar, October 7: Indian Society of Lifestyle Medicine (ISLM) successfully held its 5th Annual International Conference (ISLMCON2024) in New Delhi, bringing together medical experts, experts and thinkers from across India and around the world. leaders gathered to discuss the growing role of lifestyle. Major General Professor Atul Kotwal, Executive Director of the National Health System Resource Center (NHSRC), medical expert and public health researcher, attended the conference as the chief guest.

In his presidential address, ISLM President Dr. Rabbani Tariq emphasized the urgent need to shift the medical paradigm from a reactive model to a preventive model. He emphasized that lifestyle medicine plays an important role in addressing the global epidemic of chronic diseases.
