The Cape Ann Plaine Air Festival Collector’s Preview Party will be held at the North Shore Arts Association, 11 Pirate Lane, Gloucester, on Friday, Oct. 11, from 6 to 9 p.m. This catered event features over 175 fresh paintings by 35 festival artists. The 40th annual Annisquam Arts & Crafts Show will be held Saturday, October 12th and Sunday, October 13th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Annisquam Village Hall, 36 Leonard Street, Gloucester. Admission is free. The show features work by dozens of artisans from Cape Ann and beyond. Handicrafts include jewelry, stained glass, pashmina, pottery, wood, local food, ornaments, candles, and art.
