LAS VEGAS, Oct. 9, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — The second seasonal event of Nevada’s largest Aging Wellness Expo for active adults is presented by Optum Nevada, Inc., with support from the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Host and head to M Resort Spa & Casino. Pavilion Saturday, October 19, 2024, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will feature more than 60 exhibitors offering a wide range of services including healthcare, home improvement, retirement planning, beauty and wellness, and preventive testing. If you arrive early, you can enjoy a coffee and pastry station provided by Intermountain Health and Select Health. The Comprehensive Cancer Center offers healthy juices and snacks in the afternoon. We promise a day full of valuable information, interactive experiences, and fun activities.
Attendees will have access to Optum-Nevada’s impressive Medicine on the Move before heading to the M Pavilion. The facility is a 45-foot-tall, state-of-the-art mobile medical center with two exam rooms, urinalysis, and a laboratory for urinalysis. In addition to blood testing and radiology labs and digital mammography equipment, the facility also features a comfortable lobby, restrooms, wheelchair elevators, and heating and air conditioning. Medicine on the Move travels throughout the state to make care easy for patients. At the Expo, in parallel with Medicine on the Move, Optum and Southwest Medical patients will have access to additional labs for their annual health exams on-site, free of charge.
In the Optum Lounge, Expo guests can meet with a healthcare provider to discuss health history, review prescriptions, set up other important health tests and create a care plan. Attendees will also learn about Optum and Southwest Medical care services at interactive stations, get take-home information, and have fun taking selfies at Optum’s photo booth.
