EAU CLAIRE (WQOW) – Seven pets affected by the hurricane have arrived at the Eau Claire Area Humane Society.
The shelter said in a Facebook post that it was once again accepting shipments of hurricane relief animals over the weekend.
As News 18 previously reported, ECCHA adopted six of the 125 animals airlifted to Wisconsin by Greater Good Charities earlier this month.

On Monday, ECCHA told News 18 they adopted three more dogs and four cats over the past weekend. These are some of the 145 pets gathered this time.
The shelter pets brought in by the emergency airlift had been in animal shelters in Tennessee and Florida before the two hurricanes struck. The emergency airlift was made possible thanks to Greater Good Charities, Southwest Airlines, and Lucky Dog Animal Rescue of South Carolina.
Pets affected by the hurricane arrived in Milwaukee over the weekend. Various shelters in Wisconsin are accepting them.

Earlier this week, Greater Good Charities distributed emergency packs containing shampoo, hygiene products, Mylar blankets, socks, wash wipes and more to displaced and affected families in Asheville, North Carolina and surrounding areas.
